Hiya!

I liked both of Ray's routines - the first one was such a great surprise, but I could appreciate how much harder the slow routine was for him this week and his control was top notch.

Todd stayed in then At least he isn't playing the audience like JS did.

Right decision between Jeremy and Ellery I think - Ellery has more potential imho, although the lack of rhythm was a bit of a shock!

I think that was the right decision, I think Jeremy thought he was better than he actually was!

oh i see.

I emailed ITV last week about it when they put the ITV Player logo and website up, and they replied saying it was for people who are deaf.

Yes ok i understand meeting the needs of everyone, but do it after the show has finished. The lap of honour is still part of the show. And ITV never used to block it previously.

There is just no need for it.

Tonight, I thought Jezza was less wooden than Ellery, but I didn't think Ellery's song, nor the choreography did him any service... His partner and T&D really need to play to his strengths...

Typical ITV reply... Throw in a group you can't attack, so you won't reply...

I know that some will say that that doesn't include ice skating but it does show a wide and varied dance experience which will give him a huge advantage in movement, expression, balance, and ability to learn choreographed routines.

Even if all the above was achieved at a junior level, I do think that this does give him a very unfair advantage over most of the others

Jeremy put no effort into the skate off, not surprised he got voted off. Didn't warm to him either.

Yay for Ellery

Well, but on ice! The way I see it: however well one dances on a proper floor (and I don't know that he can dance ), ice is such a complicating factor

Rather like Gemma then...? But Jeremy took his loss with great grace.

I feel a bit bad for Jeremy actually, I really don't think he's as bad as some make out. He can come across a little smug yes, but he seems a decent guy.

He was gracious in defeat, and I always like that as I think it must be quite hard to be. It has to be quite devastating going out so early after all the effort put in, expecially when there are worse dancers left, though I doubt he ever would have made the final. It always makes me sadder that they're going when they are gracious (same with Graeme).

Here's one for the Ray haters! (from my local paper)

"Children miss out as panto finishes early"

“The panto had already suffered a blow when X Factor star Ray Quinn, who played the title role, pulled out early to rehearse for ITV1's Dancing On Ice show, which begins on Saturday.”
