Why should she leave? She is having a laugh and a good time. Her negativity as you put it is her just having a laugh.

Coleen fat? I think you need glasses....Coleen has low self confidence and is scared of falling. Natural if you are on the ice and have never done it before.

I think I can vouch for Coleen. I'm a bit like her.

The negativity is just something to help from the nerves taking over. Plus ... she lacks confidence as do I. I understand how she feels in that term. You think lacking confidence helps when you're about to ice skate in front of thousands of viewers?

She's just geniually (typo) scared, and nervous. More so than others because.. she LACKS confidence :/

So please think twice before you create such a thread and try to understand people with little confidence.

I can relate to her, as I am very negative when it comes to facing new challenges. I think she'll get better though as the weeks go on though and she's not taking it too seriously, which is the right attitude to have in my opinion.

Its like some people think you have to be so confident, she is being herself and has little confidence, that will grow.

Colleen is - I think - genuinely scared, and is probably finding skating a lot harder than she anticipated.

However, while those who have great confidence are obviously going to find it easier to take risks, etc., it takes a great deal of COURAGE to go on and do something you are scared of.

I think a lot of you need to understand what the word, 'fat' really means, and when to use it in appropriate discussions.

Call her other things but one thing you cannot say is that she is fat. She's worked for well over a year, closer to two now I think, really hard to shift the weight and she's lost tons and tons!

I didn't think it was unpleasant. I don't like him but I didn't go around calling him fat and ask him to leave.

I think you called him smug and cocky, also that you couldn't bear to watch him - on another thread you said he shouldn't be in the competition
I'm not a Ray fan but he's the best by a mile to date so good luck to him, it's a skating competition

I feel that he is too good for the competition but he is there and I am hoping he doesn't win... I don't like him yes... i find him smug and cocky.... I have seen him in concert and made my opinion from that.

You were very vindictive about John Seregant on SCD and asked for him to leave. You have one set of rules for your favourites and another for other people's.

She doesn't seem to be puting the effort into it and gives the impression she is just in it for the money.

Why not let her go and let Gemma Bissix back in you could really see she wanted to be init and was pretty upset when she was voted off.

I don't like her, and if Jason starting spouting his poison in her direction then the public will probably give her the sympathy vote. I think her and Todd are the worst skaters....but to be honest I haven't warmed to any of them so far this year

I feel sorry for her, my self esteem isn't great and it is horrid to face something which you feel you can't do, aren't ready for and think you may fail at. It's bad enough when that happens in front of a few family/friends, but to fail or make a fool of yourself in front of the whole nation must be worse.

But deep down the desire to do this and meet the challenge must have been greater than the belief she couldn't, or she wouldn't have agreed to do it.
The "I can't do it" statement could also be a form of protection - if you tell yourself, and others, that you can't do it, they won't be disappointed if you fail.

Anyone who doesn't want to listen to her should try pressing the 'mute' button. It's kinder than hoping that someone will fail.

To give her credit she was loads better tonight, so much more confident than last week and it showed!
