My recollection is that Alex made a number of reasonable points on BB3 that some people chose to interpret as moaning. I don't remember him crying over anything as trivial as broken sunglasses, for instance, or going into severe depression just because he'd been nominated........
That's what I call whining. |

No, he whined, about everything, all the time. He gave Kate a hard time constantly, and for what reason?

Originally posted by darling Yes, Alex complained about a number of reasonable points in the first couple of weeks, namely the cleanliness of the bathroom, kitchen/food and toilet. My recollection is that Alex made a number of reasonable points on BB3 that some people chose to interpret as moaning. I don't remember him crying over anything as trivial as broken sunglasses, for instance, or going into severe depression just because he'd been nominated........ That's what I call whining. He was the one that took the lead and called the meeting, several others agreed with him at the time, the ones that pulled faces were Spencer - Athletes foot and hardly showered, to be commented on many others since and Jonny - later admitted to peeing in the communal shower + manky feet. Too right - if I were living in a house with so many people I would be worried about the same things, it was only because it was such an immature inexperienced group that the problems arose in the first place. Alex had more experience of communal living, because he took a stand on this he has forever been labelled as a whinging cleanliness freak Following this I don't remember him whinging much at all, he was unhappy in the Tim/Alex eviction week but that was different, not whinging, more miserable. In the main Alex entered into the whole thing, was one of the most entertaining and amusing of BB3 and had a great time in the final week despite them not being his ideal choice. Unfortunately, as he said, people tend to remember the bad things.

It's called a cumulative effect - the straw that broke the camel's back??? This is one of the reasons why I hated BB3 - it was too cruel. The divide was like watching badgers being baited and forced to make light of it. Or perhaps it's only Alex you're prepared to make allowances for? |

If I could have afforded a brand new VW Beetle at the age of 23 I'd have considered myself quite a success........... |

Maybe that's just his car of choice? |

I'm sure ben is right, just his car of choice - I agree I'd love it - he was lucky to have something like that so young. I guess he is now ready to move on. ps. Alex wasn't living at home most of that time, he was working abroad, he used the car only when he was back here. |

Alex whined about the oranges being juggled - terrible that, for oranges.
When I saw Senior Alex I saw where he got it from - professional whiners. He whined, let's face it! He'd get right on your nerves stuck in a lift "Oh I don't like the smell of tacky veneer do you?" and you'd gladly try scaling the lift shaft... |

Those autobahns are sort of exciting and bl**dy frightening at the same time! Must be the same sort of feeling you'd get with Russian Roulette I think.

Originally posted by darling well he got that Armani gig, thats Contrast, for instance, the stuff we've seen that Alex has done and how well he was known in the advertising industry with what we've seen and heard of Federico's modelling career. Alex was clearly a successful model and over a lengthy period - you mightn't want to accept that but it doesn't make it any less true. int iti go along with that as successful. Yeah. lovely pictures too federico is successful hes with IMG... federico moyano i mean ![]() tbh i aint heard of bb4 fed before

Originally posted by darling yea i know He got Levi's, FHM covers and loads of other stuff as well. but it was a spread aint it, it wasnt a FHM cover...let alone covers. besides FHM has only ever put semi naked (mostly) girls on their covers ![]() i think - wait, i know, your exaggerrating. anyways, i thought it was about judging how 'successful'... by prestige of work as an indicator? FHM is not hugely prestigious, its a lad mag more than a fashion mag. A cover or spread for a fashion title like AH+ or VHI has waaay more kudos. Levis - yup, label but not really part of the high fashion scene. Besides... afaik it was a local Levis he did work for, not a worldwide campaign, int it. but yea its coolprestigewise...obviously his Armani shoot is the tops even tho the campaign wasnt just him also i imagine the lovely isabelli commanded the highest fee for it, probably. ![]() surprised if thats wrong ![]() and yeah they are quite good pics i gotta admit a couple of his armani shots even kinda preempted Big brother aint it ![]() especially the snogging one

oh yea, on that basis alexs also more 'successful' than the other famous ex mmodel on telly.... yup, vernon k...
when vernon modeled he never did work as prestigious as armani he fronted quite a hi profile campaign for lambretta tho, thats about as big a thing he did i think. but thats still cool int it. and looking pretty the same for that back then as on tv now, haircut 'n' all
