What was with Ruthie's pathetic "is it me ?" routine after Jason gave his scores ? Yes love, you are the one that goes after Jason. I bet it really galls her that more often than not the result of the skate off has been determined before it gets to her go.

She never really bothered me before tonight, LOL.

Yeah, that was annoying, saying to Pip that she couldn't hear him. With his shouting, how can you not?

Yes whilst I respect the insight of Nicky, Karen & Robin, hell even Jason makes occasional sense, I fail to see what exactly Ruthie brings to proceedings.

She has a right to do all of that. What would say she doesn't?

It's not always a good idea, or polite, or whatever, to do something you have a right to do, but that dosn't mean you don't have a right to do it.

Quote:
“If someone did it to her she would be lived - If someone has an opinion about ANYTHING they are entitled to it.”

Then she is entitled to an opinion of other judges' opinions.

Then the marks would be only about mistakes, which is not how it is in any real skating competition.

Colleen didnt deserve a 4.5 but theres a time and a place to discuss such things. And after Ray has finished skating is not the place. She should have said something at the time or spoke to him backstage.

Marking Colleen up is unfair on the other skaters. Jeremy went home tonight and hes a far better skater than Colleen. I thought he was undermarked tonight.

Nicky is a skater and Ruthie is a West End singer/dancer.
I valued Nicky's comments more.
There were some inconsistancies with Ruthie's scoring yesterday and I wonder if she is trying to carve herself out a career as a picky judge like Arlene Phillips just so that that we notice her. She certainly has her favourites.

Ruthie annoyed me, she doesn't have the skating expertise but thinks she knows it all. Let Nicky mark what he likes.

Horrid woman, trying to be contentious just to keep her place as a judge I'd love to see she and Jason on skates. It's very difficult to remember lines and your core when you are desperately trying to not go on your bum

I liked Ruthie up till yesterday but she was so annoying and she doesn't even have any experience with skating and acting like she is the know it all Who is she to say what others can give as a score? Look after your own scores Ruthie.

I haven't watched any of this series but I never understood why she was brought in. I don't get the hype about her as a West End star. I don't think she is that great. Hyped to the max and she believes it.

As a judge in a skating competition I think she is illegitimate.

Ruthie was out of line to do that to another judge. does ruthie even know how to bloody skate?

regardless of the scoring, she shouldnt have done that.

and to top it off she then gives the highest mark of all the judges and goes and overmarks zoe who nearly fell??

I'm sorry but what a load of piffle. 'She has a right to', but common sense and decency and knowledge of place and time should tell her when. I think Adam means 'a right' in a different way. As in, she has (or hasn't) a right to take her knickers off and wave them in the air.

I'm in awe of her theatrical career but as far as her television persona is concerned, I detest her. She is a terrible judge. Her scoring is often ridiculous and her expectations of the celebs is impossibly high. Sometimes she gives good constructive criticism but it's never anything the celebs will be able to put to use because of time constraints and lack of experience. The panel has felt very cluttered since Ruthie was shoehorned in; they should lower the number of judges again and keep it simple.

I do wonder what qualifies Ruthie to judge on this show?

The West End and Ice Skating are worlds apart.

She's redundant.

Get rid.

I thought Nicky handled the whole thing quite badly. He should have said that if he sees a routine thats worthy of a 5 then he gives a 5 no matter if its the first week or the final.

Having said that Ruthie was completely out of order to bring the whole thing up and I dont understand her motivation for doing that she did. I think the judges who are skaters dont have enough of a say in the show.

I sense the judges have been urged to be more argumentative with one another - trying to copy SCD

I can't stand Ruthie, I wish they would dump her and get another skating expert.

She was lovely last year. What's happened to her? Has she been doing a stint at the Uphill Gardiner Charm School?
