Ruthie did have a point, theres noway .5 could possibly seperate Ray and Coleen. The only way i could interpret it was because ray has so much more natural talent on the ice the improvement coleen made compared to ray was greater even though the head to head performance didnt compare. Nicky didnt really explain himself well, if you start throwing big marks out early doors your leaving yourself with nowhere to go later in the programme when the skaters really start to show improvement. Nicky said hes trying to encourage, this can be done at this early stage by constructive criticism along with more realistic marks.
