Nomination
Sanctuary
10-07-2001
Helen & Josh up for public nomination this week. Damn!! I wanted that boring git Paul out.

So did I. Not because he's boring but because of other negative personality traits that are becoming evident almost daily. I find it interesting that he's finally chosen to nominate the two gay men together: Brian on the basis that he's apparently always been irritated by him (although he's only once nominated him before) and Josh largely for the hypocritical and seemingly biphobic justification he's expressed previously (i.e. "It's disgusting that a bi bloke should see women's breasts when I think he's gay, even if the women don't mind, but I should be able to ogle Helen's regardless of what Big G may think"). The words "case" and "closet", in some order, are becoming ever more prominent in my mind.

Curiously, up until this nomination round, Josh has been the only current housemate aside from Helen not to have consistently nominated Paul since the second round (he's chosen him only once since his entrance). In the second round itself, when Josh was excepted, it was Brian and Helen (of the current inhabitants) who didn't nominate him.
