phill schofield said yesterday that todd was supposed to go down the tunnel and off the stage as part of his routine , and the voice over guy does announce on the show that it was part of the act but not quite so spectacular !! I think it was hillarious , dont know why they bothered to tell us it was part of the show , it was funnier thinking it was a total cock- up ! funniest thing on tv ! ive even got it as a video clip on my mobile to have a laugh at it when ever i want !!!

Frank IS Todd Carty! But when Stephen Mulhern said "Oooh Jayne!" on Defrosted one time, I thought maybe he could've been related!

The best bit is the expression on his face as he goes into the tunnel.Although in the HD link it isn't that clear.I saw it originally on the tv.

I haven't watched that Frank Spencer clip in years.

I never appreciated before just how completely in control Michael Crawford really was. The last time I saw it, I was young enough just to enjoy the laugh, without appreciating the skill involved. It's an amazing piece of roller skating.
