Cant BT get anything right

Over Christmas for three weeks I had no BT Broadband,everyday different excuse until finally I lost it and cancelled my contract, BT promised I would not have to pay any penalty charges. This Morning they stopped nearly three hundred pounds from my bank account.After a heated telelphone conversation and BT admitting they promised no charges the offered to Credit my account with the overcharged amount.I did not want a credit note but the money paid back into my account,I was told this could take upto 28 days for a refund.Bt is now a total shables to deal with.What has happened to the BT we could trust.

if it was taken by Direct Debit, you can call your bank and quote the Direct Debit guarantee, the bank will credit your account, and chase BT for the money
