Welcome to the safe haven of negativity

Sick of being to told to keep you nasty little opinions to yourself? Come on in

Tired of explaining your humble opinion on 20 threads all on the same DOI topic? Put your feet up, I'll pop the kettle on

Distressed at Holly's dresses/not knowing what a salchow is/wanting to post PS some Just For Men? Have a neck rub

Lambasting yourself that you can remember that Jason used to be on the UK version of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy? I have Cammomile and a darkened room

In the karmic DOI toe loop of life, come, share, enjoy and have a darn good moan if you flipping well feel like it!!

Miss_M what a fabulous idea!

As yet not too much to moan about, but will state for the record. presently my faves are, Donal, Roxanne and Colleen. This could change on a whim of course and it is early days yet.

Good to see so many SCD posters again and look forward to friendly banter!

I want to express my ire at the way Holly's boobage makes me feel so... gulp.... inadequate. It is offensive to ordinary women how she not only has acquired more than her fair share of boobage but continually flaunts it in front of us.

Get the girl a polo neck!

Can anyone explain that whole flying on a wire thing to me? I'm a bit lost with the concept, I thought the point was to stand up on the ice - no?

I'd completely forgot about that.

I just came in to say I love the thread title!

My only moan really is Ray (and the judges falling all over themselves to love him), but it's all been said before.

I hate the wired routines and think they add nothing at all to the show!

Christopher Dean talks too much and doesn't let Jayne contribute enough!

Ruthie Henshall gets on my t*ts! She doesn't add anything to the show and I can't understand why she's there!

The VTs that make out there is a huge problem which miraculously resolves itself when the couple does their routine is pathetic and is a poor attempt at suspense!

......and breathe! That'll do for starters, but I'll probably add some more.........

I agree, the flying around thing is rubbish, much prefer to see the skating.

ANother gripe and no ones fault but my own - I don't really know the professionals at all. Tall one with Zoe (she irritates me) is hot though!

Now see, I like the wire stuff. I am waiting to see who ties themself in a knot or ends up hanging themself

Jayne can come across as a bit surly at times, Chris seems to be more fun. I dont think its a coincidence that Chris does most of the talking.

Jayne smiles and does her best during the live shows but when they show the training footage Jayne usually looks a bit miserable.

Excellent, I feel we are all making huge strides !!

Venting is healthy, and opinion is just opinion - we must all learn not to confuse it with that pesky ruiner of debate - you know, that *fact* word

I'm learning everything I need to know about the *technical* side of things ( god bless wikipedia) and will soon be able to distinguish my toe loop from my lutz

I live in Nottingham and was born and brought up here. It is well known here that Jayne was always dominated by Chris and he would often reduce her to tears in training - I think that is why she is quiet - she's not used to being listened to, IMO, so she just keeps quiet.

That's not true, you've obviously got that documentary in your mind. There's no way she would stick with him if every day was like that and she certainly wouldn't be best friends with him. What's so wrong with Chris just naturally being the chatty one, it's the way it's always been.

I'm not surprised Jayne keeps Mum and lets Chris do the talking!!!!

There was a program on tv some years ago showing Jayne and Chris when they were training for the Olympics - all warts and all!! Chris was in charge - BIG TIME!!! My was he a bossy boots. Male partners bossing their female partners to the point of tears is seen all too often in ballroom dancing - clearly skating is no different!!

I would like to see the celeb women do more actual dancing on ice, they seem to spend most of the time being carried by their partners.

Does the costume department not do subtle, some of the colours on Sunday, my poor eyes. First week it was spangly eyes, now they've opened up the crayola crayons.

My favourites so far are Ray, Colleen and for sheer entertainment Todd.

I'm not sure about Holly's chest, I mean I'm glad that she is proud of them and likes to share, but I do wish she wouldn't. I realise that most of the men will not agree with that statement.

Kassieq I hear you chirping!!! my vertical and horizontal hold needing adjusting constantly if not from the boobage ( gotta say I love her for doing it but I'm sure it will result in eye strain for any/all men watching the show ) then the outfits!!!!!

Was the costume dept manned by people wearing very dark glasses all week?? How else could they have coped I wonder???

As for the bossy boots debate - I fear we may never know the true answer..... I just wish JT's expression bank had something else in the tank. If she is brow beaten that's rotten but she fluctuates between chewing a wasp and grumpy - shame really because when she smiles it changes her face completely and she looks great!!

miss m!!! Lovely to see your name again

I was 'redclio' on the BBC SCD boards and I used to vote on your behalf, if you remember

Thanks miss m. Starting to enjoy DOI now that the couples have combined. The single sex weeks did not work on SCD and they don't work here, but Sunday's show was good.

Well this may be a bit extreme but I know someone who has been in an abusive marriage to a dominant pig for over 28 years and her smile for the public is sickening!

Not saying that this is the case with Jayne and Chris but, believe me, it does go on.

Hi everyone, I'm not sure if I came across any of you on the BBC Strictly boards but I was StrictlyAutumn on there. I know there's a Strictly Autumn on here, but that's not me (obviously ).

I've only really been annoyed by the single sex weeks and Jeremy Edwards on this series of DOI so far, but now I don't have to put up with either! Oh actually, Jane wearing relatively long skirts to skate in is strangely irritating. It just doesn't look right. I know she thinks she doesn't have nice legs anymore, but they can't be that bad with all the skating she still does!

My favourite so far is Jessica, but I may be biased as I'm a cricket fan who loves Kevin Pietersen

Except they are not married, they retired in 1998 and she wouldn't do DOI if he was abusive and I think it's really wrong of you to assume so.

((Redclio)) ((akaStrictlyAutumnonlynotonDS)) how lovely to see you both!!

Red you will be delighted to know that although we didn't *make it happen* I repaid your kindness to me by voting on behalf of David Tee on final night lol!!

Princess ( if I call you Autumn it will get far too confusing ) am sure our paths crossed once or two - maybe on Strictly Books?

Yes those first tentative weeks of girl on girl/ boy on boy are a drag aren't they - let's cut to the chase and get on with it!!

(incidently, nothing wrong with a bit of KP lurrrrve)

If it's ok with all and sundry I think it's probably safest to leave the T&D who's the boss debate either to a thread dedicated to it where you can all shout at each other or alternatively with a solicitor who may defend anything outrageously unfounded you may feel the need to share......

Hi miss_m! Yes, feel free to call me Princess-much less confusing! I did see the Strictly Books thread, but I don't think I ever ventured to post on it. So glad you're feeling the KP luuuurve
