Hi,

I've just got a quick question about my Humax HDR. I have set up Doctor Who to record on BBC 3 and was watching Scuzz, but the HDR said there was a conflict and took me from Scuzz and forced me to watch BBC3.

I thought that it was possible to watch another channel whilst recording another because of the dual tuners, is there any way to check that both tuners are working?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

James.

Did you by any chance install the foxsat with 1 cable and then add the second cable later. If so that's the reason for the problem. Simply adding the cable does not work yopu have to tell the foxsat it's there. Simplest way is do a factory reset (You will lose your schedules but not any recodings). During the install the foxsat should report 2 cables found

Ahhhhh that explains it, that is exactly what happened! Thanks for the advice, I'll wait until Doctor Who has finished recording and then I'll do a factory reset.

Thanks for the help
