We are lead to believe that Karen and her husband, together with T&D spend quite a bit of time auditioning if you will... prospective skaters for the show until they come up with a bunch that they feel have the potential to shine and then make their final decision on the last 12.
Now... if thats the case.. no way on earth could Todd have been chosen as a person with potential to shine on the show. So......am I being too cynical to think that he was chosen deliberately to create a "Sergeant" scenario, as that created huge publicity for SCD. If it was indeed the case, it has worked brilliantly so far. As brill as Ray is, its not him who is being Youtubed thousands of times !!!

I dont think the Panto has helped Todd really as it took up most of his practice time and he is therefore playing catch up all the time.
