Mine automatically added them and then I manually deleted them.

I suppose its going to take a long time for a channel to be added that I actually want to keep.

Simply put your box into standby and then turn back on and you should get an on screen message such you can choose to accept or defer and it then does a scan and only adds the new channels. Thankfully it doesn't appear to rip out the schedule. Hope this helps.

Yes lilypenny is right just go into standby and then turn back on. If you want you can just force a freesat scan and this won't delete your schedules, it's only scans of non-freesat that delete the schedule

Thanks for this .Today my wife switched on from standby and was concerned when a dialogue box flashed up some changes which she could not note in the short time it was on the screen.

A freesat scan deleted my schedules.

the fault must be your box Flyer. I deliberately tested mine before posting to ensure the fact it doesn't delete. May I suggest folk make a note of their schedules just in case.

I also manually scanned for the new channels without loss of reservations. Very Strange
