Ray v Todd Final
What a ridiculous situation that would be - one there because he's so good, the other because he's so bad

I'm glad that Jeremy is out. Talk about bitter!

I have to say i did think he was undermarked on Saturday and i was shocked at Colleens 4.5, she didnt deserve this. The judges have their favourites and Jeremy just wasnt one of them. Cant see Todd in the final though.

The public just didn't care about him enough to save him - that is the only travesty and fix as far as Mr Edwards is concerned. He is invisible.

As for that report in the Daily Star, it's laughable for all the nonsense in it. Ruthie wasn't challenged about her scores - she's the one who challenged Nicky. And it was Nicky who talked about the Head Judge making a directive with regard to the marking, not Ruthie. And of course Jayne and Chris liked his routine - they never criticise the celebs that they're mentoring. I don't know about anyone else but I apply several buckets of salt to what I read in the Daily Star! |

the scoring was way off
Nicky's scores were barmy and it wasn't until I saw Jeremy's interview that Ruthie marked him with a 0.5 difference from Todd - which again is ridiculous as, yes Jeremy may have been singing along, he didn't fall over and did a reasonibly routine. |

I agree with the title of this thread 'Ray v Todd final', with Todd going on to win.
That would be a fantastic result, for entertainment value, this is meant to be an entertainment show, after all. |

I don't think there is any way Todd will be able to top last week's (unintended) performance, the comedy will get very samey, and I don't think I really want him to, because skating can be dangerous, and I don't want either him or his partner to get damaged. Having said that, I would love to see his take on Bolero.... |

I love the show as does just about everyone I know but we almost all agree that the ridiculously high marking of Coleen and the fact that she and Todd are still there are ruining this series.

Only one person can go off each week, and it's still very early stages, are you trying to suggest that everyone who can't skate like Torvill and Dean should be dumped in the first week? |

No, we don't.

No I'm not trying to suggest that everyone who can't skate like Torvill and Dean should be dumped in the first week otherwise they would all be dumped in the first week. I am more than suggesting though that the deadwood should have been dropped in the first two weeks. In Todd's defence I will say he is entertaining. Coleen is just annoying. |

This is why three somewhat better skaters with apparently toxic public personalities that people didn't like got voted off first. It would have made no difference to those people whether they were good skaters or not, they just weren't liked, and didn't get the votes. |

"FURIOUS Jeremy Edwards has branded Dancing On Ice “a travesty” and “a fix”." Jeremy just wasn't that good skating or entertainment wise and messed up in the skate off - get over it! |

Todd in the final?
That would be on a par with Chris Parker in the 1st series of Strictly, and thank god it has moved on since then!!! I've nothing against Todd - how can I have, I don't even know him? He made me laugh last week, but even if he comes up with another 'gag' this week, I doubt if it will be as funny because everyone will know it will probably be contrived. And do I want to watch him skate? No, not really, as I find him boring. But for as long as other viewers find him entertaining, then he has a place in the show. |

Jeremy has a point, particularly about the Roxanne part.
I was shocked at her marking! |

Todd is trying damn hard. He doesn't wobble around on purpose. Anyone who gave the impression they couldn't be bothered and puprosefully wasn't trying would not earn our votes. |

Sid-1979, you have hit the nail on the head, Todd is trying very hard, and
'The Great British Public' loves someone who tries very hard, however good or bad they are. Remember Eddie The Eagle Edwards, the ski jumper, who always came last, but the public loved him, because he was trying his best, it did not matter that his performances were not perfection. |
