I have set up a Windows7 64 Bit Beta system, DVBViewer loads and runs but I get no sound or pictures. Anyone had any success with this. Not sure if this has anything to do with the problem I am also having on ATI CCC windows 7 version not loading as well, I have another version of CCC running OK. Any ideas appreciated.

I actually tried the latest beta of Windows 7 (64bit) again last night and everything worked perfectly.

I didn't keep an image of the set up, might set it up again tonight and keep it seeing it doesn't expire until August.

Only tried a freeview scan as i was getting fed up setting it up at the time and just stopped lol.

But i did have piccies and sound. Oh wait that was in media centre, i never installed DVB Viewer to try it, and that's what you asked doh.

I will start installation again and give DVB Viewer a whirl just for you Mustru.

(Back later to report my DVB Viewer and W7 findings)

Well I installed Windows 7 with no external ATI drivers or video decoders and all is well with all channels including the HD ones.

I just used the internal Mocrosoft DTV-DVD Decoder for video and audio and all is well.

You have remembered to select the video and audeo decoder munstru ?

I'll just keep using it now to try and find out what is good and bad with Windows 7. Seems fine to me so far.

Thought about buying DBViewer, but Windows 7 64 bit Media Center and the accompanying EPG seem to work so well with my Hauppauge Nova HDS2 card that I am not sure it is now worth the additional expense.

The only problem I am having with MC is that some of the Freesat LCNs are wrong. For instance BBC1 and BBC2 are OK as 101 and 102, but BBC HD is 998. I started renaming individual LCNs but this is going to take ages. Anyone got any helpful ideas about this?

Cheers

Media Centre works OK but i don't like the freesat / Analogue / Freeview guide all in the one.

Oh and of course no ITV HD. (Can't have that)

I'm back with DVB Viewer and Vista needless to say. (A Happy Bunny)
