Can I connect different satellite confugurations to LNB1 and 2 inputs ?
I mean, f.i., to connect Astra 28º at LNB Input 1, and a diseqc switch with Astra 19/HotBird13/AtlanticBird3/Thor5 to LNB Input 2 .

yes but you will lose some functions eg record 2 progs at same time. But you could have 28e input on diseq as well. You have to enter hidden menu to set it all up but you probably know that.

ok, thanks, I didn't know.
The hidden menu is just to enable different configurations on both inputs or to have diseqc on 2nd. input ?

I've done it.

Put diseqcs on both inputs, wired identically and follow the instructions here. It "just works"

Having said that the capability of the receiver in this mode is so limited it's hardly worth the hassle. Really it's only worth doing for technical gratification, I can think of no other reason.

Yes, ok, I understand, but I'd like to have different configurations for input 1 and input 2.
I'd like to receive 5 satellites, astra 28 (fixed) at input 1, and 4-diseqc switch at input 2.

I Just got a Foxsat hdr and when connecting got a bit concerned. The manual says put motors on LNB1 in and LNB1 has a max current of 250ma. My diseqc 1.2 motor has 250ma running but 350ma max. LNB2 can support 500ma but the advanced menu does not apparently see the motor when in LNB2. Is the current limited on LNB1 or might I blow the output?
( 90 cm dish quad lnb, Diseqc 1.2, Foxsat hdr, TechnomateTM-5400)
