Dumb Question re 2 ipods 1 computer
Hi
Both me and my partner now have ipods but we share a laptop. All my stuff was downloaded onto an old pc which I dont have set up any more so would like to use the laptop. How can I authorise the laptop to add music into my library without going into my partners account and without loosing my old stuff? Thanks in advance |

if by authorise you mean the purchased music, you will need to login to iTunes with your account, then at the top look for a menu called Store then click authorize computer.... your laptop will now be authorised to play your purchased music.
to manage the two iPods on one laptop it would be best to set both to manual and then manually select which playlists to import to each iPod and also you will have to manually sync them too |

Does that mean I can add music from oh's lists onto my ipod? I thought they wouldnt allow that for piracy reasons (Fine with me saves me uploading all of the same cds twice)

would guess it would be possible, if your laptop is authorised to play their music I guess you would then be able to sync her playlists on your iPod......I've never done this so I am unsure
