Will BT Charge me?
Hi,
I am currently on Sky BB and have BT for my landline calls. As Sky are increasing their BB price by £5 a month unless you take their Sky Talk service. The problem is I took BT's free evening and weekend calls package which I am tied to for 12 months and this only expires in August 2009. If I was to keep my BT line rental and take Sky Talk on my line will BT charge me a fee for doing this, like a cancellation of contract fee? Thanks for any help and advice in advance. |

Right yes BT will charge you as Sky would be taking your line over, now I will not hazard a guess as I just paid to come out of BT BB contract (had 2months left) and how they have worked my last bill out and cancellation fee's dont really make any sense to be honest that why wouldnt stab a guess, but im assuming you pay £11 for the phone at mo with BT???, Cause im actually wondering if it might just be cheaper for you to stomach the extra £5 a month with Sky than rather pay BT to come out.
If I was you I would give them a call and ask exactly how much you would owe if you did switch over. EDIT* also I found out when I gave Sky a call that they can sometimes help pay towards BT if they know they are getting you over with all their services...........I didnt bother looking anymore into it, but just recall the woman @ Sky telling me that. |
