Power cable
I have just got 1 at last. 1 in stock at local Argos.
Can someone please tell me if the power cable is fixed into the back of the box or if i pull hard enough will it come out. The reason being is if it does not i would have to cut plug off and replace new 1 after positioning where i want box to go. If i did this could or would it be a problem with Guarantee. Thanks |

Yes its definately fixed. Inside the box it goes straight to a switch on the back panel by means of spade style connectors with the earth going down to a connection on the circuit board / chassis (can't remember which).
Any problems other than at the extreme plug end and its definately a total replacement. Personally rfom this point of view, I'd have preferred a standard kettle type lead and socket as much easier to obtain and replace. |
