Overheated Panasonic TH42PZ700
Ina moment of madness I covered my Panasonic plasma with a sheet (I'm doing my house up and didn't want it covered in dust). Unfortunately the TV was still on. A couple of hours later I realised my mistake.
Upon trying to turn the TV on again I found it wouldn't start up. I've left it for over an hour now but still no joy. The green light flashes as if it's going to start, but then there's a click from the back of the telly and the light goes red, flashing at an interval of about 3 seconds. 1. Have I knackered it completely? 2. Am I really stupid? ![]()

Thanks JPH.
It's blinking 10 times red then pausing. I've just spoken to Panasonic who say they MAY cover some of repair cost even tho it's out of warranty, which is jolly nice of them. Hopefully it's just a fried protective fuse of some sort. I'll have a look on forum for other comments meantime. |
