I don't want one of those 'HD Ready' crap (made that mistake with my first and current HD TV), I want 32+" 1080P full HDTV. Don't want to go mad on money, I've got a PS3 and 360 and will update to sky + soon, I've got a 21" TV/monitor but that only goes to 1080I.
Thanks everyone.
Edit, 360's component cables not HTMI. So need one that supports atleast 2 HDMI Ports (Sky HD-PS3) and Conponent cables.

If you want advice then it's probably not a good idea to start off with "HD ready crap" since you will soon be correctly told that HD Ready is not crap and that many HD ready TVs are better than some 1080p full HD TVs.

Your current TV will presumably just input 1080i so getting one that will input 1080p may be of benefit whether it's full HD or not. Whether you will benefit from full HD or not depends on how close you sit - you will need to sit 6' or closer and preferably 4-5' to get any benefit from a 32" full HD TV.

Almost all HD TVs will have component inputs.

Yep, it's only 1080I, I'm after one with 1080P, and Oh ok I understood that HD Ready didn't mean full HD. sitting close is fine by me.

The best is any 720p plasma TV!
I can understand why people so predispositioned to 1080 standard. On 3 meters distnace you wont be able to distinguish 1080 and 720 TV!
So my suggestion - dont measure resolution.
Better take into consideraion such factors as colours, contrast etc.

Choosing a TV just because it's 1080p is a bit like choosing a car just on the 0-60 time. There are many other things that define the overall picture quality. It's similar to the camera market, where most punters believe that more pixels = a better picture, so some of the less scrupulous manufacturers stick a 10 megapixel chip in with a crappy lens and other parts because they know many people will go for the higher number.

OP, I own this TV, it's very good value for money and has all the features you seem to be looking for.

I've got the 32inch version. Can't fault it on HD. On some SD channels its a little weak I find.

It's not full HD though, and unlike the Toshiba, the HDMI port's aren't 1.3 What does 1.3 mean anyway?

It means it supports the newer features added to the more recent versions of the HDMI spec.

Ok. I'm leaving in about 30 Mins, still sticking with that Toshiba with the price, game mode and HDMI 1.3 ports. So guys you've got 30Mins to convince me to buy something else.
