Anybody got a Pioneer DVR-LX61D yet?
My Pioneer 630-H HDD/DVD Recorder is starting to malfunction. (It won't high-speed copy to disks anymore which suggests to me that realtime copying won't be far behind. I've tried blasting compressed air into the disk tray--which has worked before--but this time seems to have no effect.)
So, I've been looking at what's now available. Has anybody tried the LX61 yet? The specs look good and I've always found Pioneer to be good quality, but it is worth asking. I'd love to hear the good and the bad! Thanks. |

I had similar problem with my 530 and fixed it using a maxell dvd laser cleaner disk (it has a brush that sweeps the lens!!!).

I tried the Maxell cleaner.
Sadly, I have to report that after one successful copy, the old fault returned. So I may try to stimulate the economy by buying a replacement. |

I got a humax 9200t cos most of the stuff I was putting on the 530 was being deleted after viewing. Now I only use the pioneer for stuff I know I want to put on dvd. The humax has a usb out to copy progs to pc. It's a good box. |
