Problem, please help!!!
I have a problem, my laptop has been damaged, and i am wondering how to get all my songs off itunes. My laptop still turns on, but the CD drive is damaged and will not open, so i cannot transfer them onto CD. I have a USB stick, but when i put them on there the padlock sign appears on the song? I just need to find a way to backup my songs, before my laptop goes off for repair.
I'm not really sure how itunes works, is there a way that if you have a new laptop, and download itunes, then sign back into your original username, will all the song you downloaded, return onto your new laptop? |

They allow redownloads only once, but even then they're iffy when you ask them. I recommend finding a way to back them up.
Nothing's wrong with the padlock sign by the way... I reckon when you reimport them they'll be fine. |

you can back up your itunes on to your ipod insteed of using CD's. (I have never done so do not know how you do it, but it can be done)
or you could copy all of your music to your ipod (using your ipod as an hard drive) deauthorize your broken laptop. Then when your laptop come back from the shop copy your music back to your computer and then authorize the computer. |
