I Bet Todd Plays On His Useless Act Tomorrow
MACTOWIN

I think Todd will play on his distinct lack of ability tomorrow night by incorporating something in his routine similar to last week . I am sure he will play the same card as last week which I admit was funny however if he plays it again I hope he goes once is funny twice is overkill.

Exactly, although, dare I say it, this gimmick idea worked for John Sergant too so why not go with the comedy of it rather than take it too seriously like Jessica and Zoe, for example.

He does it well he fails to maintain his own low standard.

John Sergant played it well but once in 12 months is enough.

Personally I don't think he will, he seems to be practising very hard now that his panto commitment is finished and I'm sure he will try to skate to the best of his ability on Sunday. As to the other skaters, I'm not sure 'decent' is the right description at this stage, many seem to be struggling, just not as much as Todd.

Ellery was interviewed on 5 Live and he didn't seem very confident. So maybe he's the next one out.

I'm not surprised Ellery is not feeling confident. As I said on another thread, Jayne & Chris did not play fair with him last week, beginning his routine with stupid moves that simply emphasised what he did badly, and even his partner commented that "when they had to do the walks, he looked like he was drunk"..... Nice to get support from your partner!!! Not all moves suit all people, and if something doesn't look right, a good choreographer will change it.

Consequently he finished in the bottom 2, which will have lowered his confidence even more.

Is there some place where we can find out how much time they spend practising?

Yeah, it'd be good to have an 'It Takes Two' or 'Xtra Factor' behind the scenes programme with that kinda info..

As I predicted in fact worse he played on it so much he has to go he should at least try instead of rolling about the ice.

It gave me no pleasure to be right I would rather be wrong and he was gone.

Part of Todd's charm early on was that he was trying hard to skate well and wasn't trying to be funny.

But this comedy act has turned into a gimmick which he's playing on for all it's worth. The end result is not good and it's no longer endearing.

I want him out.

Unfortunately, the show is also playing up the "comedy".

They aren't even trying to give him a proper skating routine.

I'd have thought T&D's professional self-respect would have stopped them from choreographing that, but no.

So long as you two just laugh and don't try singing that's ok by me. I happen to like that song and would hate to hear it massacred
