Underwood is a tool of the highest order and these comments sum the bloke up. He's had two shots at skating on this series and I think he brings precisely zero to the ice, plus he hasn't improved one iota. Time for him to go, I think. All he's good atof is smiling his cheesy grin and breaking limbs.

Answered that question, thanks

I think we can safely discount anything that appears in the Daily Star, can't we?

Yes they do it all the time Peter Dyke is a member of the BR and we 'made up' some rumours for CBB to see what happened and low and behold he made a story out of them on last BB someone posted sonething that had gone on at BBLB and he printed the story quoted them without permission

The DS is King of printing absolute boll*x... but when an actual person is quoted (rather than an anonymous source), it's much less likely to have been made up.

i bet Michael is p*ssed off that Carty is now the clown. Michael just about exists on this year's show- he's pretty invisible.

I don't generally believe anything much in the DS, so I hope this isn't true.
IF he really has made those comments then Michael isn't the nice guy that he appears to be....bearing in mind he was being labelled the clown character of the last series, then it smacks of nothing but jealousy...

Sorry to change the subject slightly, but does anyone know why Angelica Bell is always in the audience supporting Michael? Is it just because they are colleagues (I didn't think they were anyway) or are they related or something.

Commenting about Ray he says the professional skaters say hes better than them....Hmmm dont think so, watch these professionals in their own right and as good as Ray is compared to professionals hes a novice, a good one but a novice all the same. Might as well compare a really good semi pro football player against Ronaldo...nonesense.

Really? Do you have a link for that?

I don't believe for one second that he would have said any such thing.

She's apparantly his girlfriend, according to the commentary tonight.

I don't care what part of anyone's anatomy Todd has put out of joint, just get him out of there. He was funny last week but it was back to sheer uncomfortable incompetence this week.

Angelica is Michael's girlfriend.

Thanks, I didn't hear that, but that's funny as she only got married a year or so ago and I'm sure it wasn't to him.

Underwood though should consider himself luck he even has this chance to appear on Dancing on Ice. By right he shoudn't because he has already undergone training twice before this series training started. And indeed things like this outburst may come back to haunt him.

It only takes the public to vote him into the skate off against a better but less popular celebrity and it's bye bye Michael. Conversely though given Michael is a GMTV man there will be the inevitable outcry of phoneline rigging ”

What is also below the belt he said Todd's partener does not like skating with him in case she gets hurt that is plain nasty.

Ironically it's Michael and not Todd who's done most to hurt their pro partner. Todd might be a fool but he's never clumsily dropped his partner like Underwood!!!

Think there might be something in all of this, Michael looks livid that Todd's been voted back!

Aren't DS posters just the nicest people?! I love how you base your assessment on one Tab article.

It would appear so :

Michael Underwood slams unfair Dancing On Ice scoring
Tue Feb 03 12:01PM by TV Editor

Michael Underwood has accused the Dancing On Ice judges of unfair scoring and says that the show is biased in favour of the female contestants.

The GMTV presenter, who was voted out of Sunday's show following a skate-off with Melinda Messenger, singled out judge Nicky Slater for criticism.

He told The Sun: "Unfortunately this series there's been a lot of random scoring - inconsistencies - Nicky's scoring especially.

"He'll be giving Donal 4.5 and then Ray five and the difference between Ray and Donal is not point five. You want to see consistency."

Michael, who had to pull out of last year's series after breaking his ankle, also said that the girls have an unfair advantage because they are led by their professional partners:

"The girls can get away with it - they can be lifted, they can hold positions, they don't have to have as much feet on the ice."

The actual quotes there are not in any way nasty or bitter. I can see how he may have been responding to a question that was twisted to fit the 'Slams' headline - A word DS seems way too fond of imo
