She was miles better than both Zoe and Michael tonight IMO, yet she is always getting lower marks? I really dont get it, I feel for the both of them they must be so frustrated to be getting crappy marks when they were one of the better ones.

For some reason Jaon marks her low every week cant understand why.

I'm not an ice skating expert either, but I thought she did well, she really seemed to perform it and get into what was expected of her. I was surprised when I saw the low (IMO) scores.

I know! I was convinced she'd get 4's.

She was better than Michael but I'm not sure if she was better than Zoe. She never looks very steady to me.

As a personal note, I don't really appreciate her continual mouthing off. Jason was perfectly polite to her and her remark was bitchy and unnecessary.

She was good. I love her spirit and hope she goes far.

Tbf when she's getting half decent marks from others and Jason brings it down, it must be difficult.

If I was her, I'd feel like he was picking on her for the unecessarily ott comments, no wonder she's getting peeved off.

At least she skated on her own without being supported by her partner during the routine, unlike a few other females on there ............

I assume she's being marked out for a 'journey' so is being marked low to look better later on. She's clearly better than some of the men who are scoring higher with some/all of the judges.

She did loads of skating on her own unlike Melinda, Coleen and Zoe, so she definitely should have got higher marks. Yeah Zoe has more speed over the ice but this week she didn't let go of Matts hand.

He's done it since the first week!
He has it in for her for some strange reason, not too different to Ruthie and Jessica.

I've enjoyed her routines, IMO better than Coleen, Michael and Melinda this week.

Zoe was better. She skated better and her lifts were more difficult and had more wow factor.

Roxanne seems to me though to be getting it right. More personality than most of them , obviously trying and getting better. Will take risks. Is doing teh dangerous lifts and is more confident on the ice. There's no sign Jessica is going to get much better on the personality, acting or risk fronts and Melinda stalled this week too so I would think its a positive week for Roxanne.

The long term might be promising. If they havn't banned them Zoe may be too tall for the headbangers and overhead lifts and Ray isn't strong enough to do the male equivalent. Jessica isn't that far ahead and should have done more by now if she could. Roxanne as far as you can tell from TV may be just the right size. Who is short and dares wins.

The marks are the way they are because they are not using 2s for people like Colleen and once they have given her 3 and Ray a 5 there's just not enough marks left to split Jessica, Zoe, Michael and Roxy that accurately.

Roxy was the only one do do any proper skating on her own but she gets marked down yet the last two years they have slated Dans partners for NOT skating on their own seems it doesnt matter what Dan does they are gonna mark him and his partner down. There had been no mention of the others NOT skating alone. Thankyou Nicky for at least giving them the credit they deserved.

Its just my explanation. Markwise its reflected in Jason and Ruthie who both seem to think Zoe is the better entertainment act so far.

The problem with the marks is that there are so few options and you may be right they get it wrong. If you mark down from Ray its easy to see why she's on 3.5 say but if you start at Colleen or even Melinda this week she should be higher than them by a bigger margin. The problem with five people marking is that they are not all marking the performers against each other, some are marking up and down from Colleen and others are marking down from Ray......on top of that some may adjusting for the other judge's marks. The order isn't that wrong though and Roxanne is moving up it.

I think they are building her up over the weeks - they don't want her to peak to early so they're giving her rubbish scores to start with, I think she's the journey character because she IS improving each week whereas some of the other girls are staying in one spot.

Roxanne seems a bit immature to me. She lacks grace on the ice.

And her partnership with her pro lacks chemistry.
