Good times! He won't win but I would like him to stay in as long as possible.

Am glad he's got through seems the public thought he deserved to stay too.

Ah brilliant!

Glad he was called early too, so I wasn't in suspense.

Hope the fall hasn't knocked his confidence and he can build on the better aspects of the routine for next week!

Esqualita is secretly dreaming of being the filling in a Donal and Pavel sandwich...

He was great, the recovery from his slip was good, he just picked the routine up again, he should of had better marks. Second best of the night IMO.

I think we should all join forces and vote for our man next week

I usually detest the 'J word' but Donal's journey is proving a joy to watch.

He's come on leaps and bounds and seems like a genuinely nice fella.

Hi Sid, nice to be able to agree with you on something for a change

I'm not so much into the 'journey' kinda thing but I do like someone who gives their all and takes some risks and I think Donal's the one who's really going for it. I'm definitely starting to like him a lot.

Plus you can't help rooting for someone who doesn't have the soap/pop star previous exposure and has an unknown partner to boot.

I'd like to see him in the final with Ray and Jessica

So is Pint of Stella! God, that sounds fabulous!

Hey, I tell you who else I decided is hot tonight - Coleen's partner, Stuart. What a body!

I sound like some awful over-hormonal old woman!

You can keep Stuart-I'm having Pavel. I'm sure we can share Donal.

i thought he did well too. Maybe the 4.5 from nicky was a bit OTT but it was nearer to the mark then Ruch or Jason.

Sounds good to me!

I'm sure we can come to some arrangement!

Any man's body would be incredibly toned if they had to lift Coleen on a regular basis

We had to agree sooner or later mate

I agree with all your points

I'm liking Donal more and more each week and hope he continues to improve.

I'm in serious danger of taking a vehement dislike to Zoe Salmon despite her undoubted potential, simply because Ruthie Henshall appears to be marking from somewhere in her small intestine.

Must not let this happen. It is not Zoe's fault.”

Zoe is my favourite but Ruthie's marking drives me crazy, she's incapable of being objective!

It was a good performance. However, I was mostly interested in his partner. Why have a never noticed her before...!?

The music was carrying him. He was so out of time!

Room for any more filling in that sandwich? Although a little extra sprinkle of Donal would be more to my taste

But he needs to stop losing so much weight!

Me too. He was absurdly undermarked by Jason and Ruthie..aren't they supposed to take the difficulty of the routine into account ? Some of the male pros are smart, they can keep their celeb partners in hold, posing or off the ice altogether..the male celebs dont have that luxury.

Ruthie and Jason have no business being on the panel in the first place and their scoring of Donal proved this.

Performing on ice and performing on stage are worlds apart. I strongly believe that you need experience of the former to be able to judge it.

Those that watch profressional ice skating would appreciate that Donal offered a far better interpretation of the music than many of the other celebs that scored more than him.

*sigh* he's lovely. He can come across the sea and investigate me whenever he likes; I won't underscore him

I'll send him your way when I've finished with him - I hope the man's got plenty of stamina

Had to vote for the lovely Donal tonight. Loved his performance and his skating skills are pretty neat too. He did a hydroglide last week and this week a back teapot to spiral - impressive. And he really seemed to be giving it his all. Florentine's exhortations to 'present' seemed to have worked. Loved the ending.
