Where has she gone to? I was really looking forward to seeing more of her.

Just realised, she was with Graeme Le Saux and disappeared in week one.

Kristina has been on the show since series one.

It's a shame they never give her a better skater so we can see more of her as she's sweet!

Felt really sorry for Kristina when she went out the first week with Graham.

Wasn't she paired with Greg Rusedski one year or am I dreaming?

She should have been paired up with Ray really - she hasn't been that lucky with her partners.

She was paired with Stefan Booth in the first series and got through to the final.

They deserved to win but were beaten by Daniel Whiston and the dreadful, and I mean r-e-a-l-l-y dreadful, Gaynor Faye.

She would have been brilliant with Ray as they're both of similar stature too so would have been well suited.

Gaynor Faye was not dreadful at all

Hello

I don't watch this show much but I remember how bad Gaynor Faye was.

But Kristina's partner wasn't much better. I was surprised he reached the final!

I think Gaynor showed great improvement and won over viewers with her down-to-earth and upbeat personality.

The show has become much more serious since then and Gaynor would be out of her depth now.

Stefan Booth improved vastly throughout the competition and ultimately deserved to win. I still remember with great joy when he was in the bottom two early in the competition and was voted through over John Barrowman. The reaction of Barrowman and his equally sore loser fans was a joy to behold.

In the Champion of Champions event, he got further than her and Gaynor came last. As you say, the standard had improved and this is what the judges told her. Stefan had maintained the standard he had reached by the end of the competition and did a lot better.

Had the competition not been hijacked by soap fans, as so many of these shows are, he would have won. Gaynor was hopeless at the start of the series, dreadful at the end and awful when she came back.

A bit difficult to give her a better skater when no one knows who will be good or bad until the training and public performances kick in. For the professionals surely its just the luck of the draw as regards to what ability is shown?

OMG I remember her. I can't believe she won. Calling her dreadful is paying her a compliment.

I remember the week that the compulsory move was a half turn jump. Gaynor's jump was an inch from the floor and held by Daniel throughout.

Even by the end of the series she couldn't land a jump or be lowered back to the ice on one foot. She looked like a broomstick during her lifts and was always pushed and pulled by Daniel.

Stefan Booth and Kristina were robbed. Their Mr Bojangles routine is still one of my favourite of any series and their Bolero was by far better. Gaynor was not so much Bolero as Bollard.

I was a fan of Gaynor's but your last statement made me chortle!

Cant believe shes eliminated. Shes one of the best skaters. Why does she always get the dud partners - Greg Rudeski and Stephen Gately. She would have been perfect for Ray.

Stefan should have won series one.

As for Graeme, I think they shouldn't have gone out in the first week, I think he could have been quite good.

Wasn't Bonnie Langford in that series (series one) as well? Although I still stick by my comments every series that men have a much harder job, Bonnie was the best female in the series. (and note Colleen no youngster either)

Bonnie was the superior skater but unfortunately I don't think the audience warmed to her like the other two (she was in the skate-off a couple of times if I recall correctly).

It's a shame as I was quite fond of Bonnie but I appreciate that you have to win the audience over with more than your skating on DOI.

If you watched Bonnie properly during the series, she didn't skate that much but was fantastic during the lifts.

Since then she's kept up the skating and is probably really good now.

Now it looks like Matt is doing the same with Zoe who in the last few weeks has skated solo, but didn't at all on Sunday.

She always seems to get partnered with the poor performers.

Must be some sort of ice dance hierarchy where the top dancers (I wouldn't know which they were they're all professionals to me) where the obviously going to be good celebrities get paired off with them.

Poor Kristina never seems to last long.

Gaynor was one of the best in the first series. You have to note that now the celebrities go for better and better standards each time - with the exception of the crap ones who stay at the same level all the time.

But compared to the winning celebs now Gaynor's efforts look pretty tame - but at the time it was a new show.
