I think he's been reduced to giving constructive criticism this year, he overreached himself with his remarks the first week, got told off for it and has been ok since.
He does give constructive criticism for example telling Roxanne that he required element was very strong which it wasnt rea was wobbling all over the place, so definitely something to work on.
The audience is full of the type of people who keep voting for Todd. The whole thing is getting out of order now.”
Worst of all was Schofield praising the audience for shouting him down. It's the mob rule mentality of the BNP, really - anything you don't agree with, shout as loud as you can over it to stop it being heard.
That Schofield should actually praise it shows what a farce the TV series can become.
You wouldn't get behaviour like this on the tour, even though the warm up man encourages booing of Jason.
I do agree. The noise of this DOI crowd, instigated I know by the stage manager, is really bad. And praising such rudeness to one of the judges very ferral
They seem primed to boo any score below a 3.5 and any negative comment. Its naff, and encourages a pantomime atmosphere. It is bad enough when they boo Jason when he is being fair, but when they boo Karen for a low mark or negative comment, it shows the ridiculousness of it - Karen gives more help and support to the contestants than any of the boo-ers in the audience do.

I am no expert judge but some of the markes given out seemed to be way to high. Even 5's were being given out and on this occassion I would agree none of the performances tonight really stood out and none in my view deserved much more then 3.5 maybe a 4.
I'm all for constructive criticism but his never is, he really drags them down showing no compassion at all. Constructive criticism is what Robin gives.

I think Jason's the judge everyone loves to hate, but some of his criticism was constructive, and it was appalling that he wasn't allowed to be heard.
Boo him by all means - but after his comments, not during. How many of those were parents who will go home and tell their kids it's rude to interrupt while somone is talking?
What's constructive about telling someon they look like they're crapping themselves when they dance?
I think 'being honest' is just used as an excuse to be rude.
Jason has no relevant experience in the field of ice dance and he simply doesn't have the charisma required to play a reality show villain. He just comes across as obnoxious.

Exactly ! and neither of them can skate so how can they judge on skating techniques.
The audience was right in booing him down, it was while he was "giving his constructive criticism" to Donal. He started getting really nasty, too, if you listen to what he was saying. And before he started, while Nicky was talking he looked over at Ruthie and rolled his eyes. He's an ass.
The audience reaction to Jason's remarks to Donal were all choreographed. The audience they showed were dressed as Blues Brothers which made it obvious it was a set up. This is what annoys me.
It is a case of crying wolf and is becoming pointless. The man only has to open his mouth before some idiots start booing.
The audience should be kept on a tighter lease. Booing is so rude and Jason isnt being mean, he is giving constructive criticism which can help the contestants improve. I thought Phil was well out of order encouraging this. This would never happen on Strictly.
