A 3-2 skate-off...

...genuinely exciting, didn't know who would win, but truly Melinda was better and deserved to survive.

I was sure they'd save Michael as he is a better skater, but I'm thrilled to bits that Melinda got through.

What getting carried around for a couple of minutes !!!!!!! Micheal skated well and gave a great performance he was undermarked and should not have been in the skate off. Judges were way off all night .

Not as way off as the GBP as usual.

Yep... a poor performance by both judges and public tonight....

Judges.... 2.0
Public.... 1.0

Exactly - there is so little recognition that the men have it far tougher having to do lifts and more. A poor woman can be made to look good by a professional partner carrying her around - a poor male skater is much more exposed.

Melinda should have gone - for most of the routine Fred could have been carrying round a sack of potatoes and it would have made little difference.

I am pleased that Melinda stayed in but felt very sorry for Michael as he skated much more than Melinda and was far better in the skate off.

Like the judges pointed out they weren't the worst on the night and it is a shame that people that are putting so much effort in are being voted out ahead of others who don't seem to bother.

I thought Michael had the edge over Melinda as his solo skating skills were stronger. But I didn't think either of them should have been in the bottom 2.

I find it rather sad that so many prefer to see someone who is hopeless at something, over someone who is either talented, or at least improving.
