Anyone any idea when/ or if she will be coming back?

I know she's had a hard time with the break-up of her marriage etc but shes a great singer and show-woman

would like to know if any tours are planned soon?

All i know is she made a surprise appearance at the Country Music Awards at the tailend of 2008, and she said she has been writing songs while she's been spending time at her homes in Switzerland and New Zealand. She's had a tough break-up it seems, but a lot of the country music forums seem confident she'll have a new album out sometime this year.

I think her divorce was a shock, and it's been a rough time for her personally and Mutt breaking up plus they have a son. She will be back and probably better than ever!!!

There are many true country music fans who think she should just be labled pop. What she puts out is NOT country music.

it's hybrid....country crossed over into pop.

She started off a country singer and I do think she brought country music to a whole new audience. Over time she's kinda morphed into a mixture of country and pop and in doing so has made her very popular. On her 'Up' album some of her 'counrty' mixed songs were much better then their 'pop' counterparts (i try to forget about the hideous 'world' versions )

I hope she starts releasing some new stuff soon.

At least Mutt Lange won't be producing this one. Her sound was really stale with "Up!" so I'm hoping the divorce will spice up her music.

Didn't know she did a song called Up as well! The Saturdays' one is different though. I actually liked some of Shania's songs though. "Ka-Ching" and "That Don't Impress Me Much" were my personal favourite ones. Hope she comes back soon.

a tour would be the best way for her to show she's back and ready to face the world

plus it would be good cos I REALLY WANNA GO SEE HER

Hope she comes back soon, really like her album 'Come On Over'. It did remarkably well hear also.

Radio stations still play That Don't Impress Me Much and Man I Feel Like A Woman quite often but make out she retired at the end of 1999.

Pity as, although these are quality songs, I like her best for Ka-Ching and Party for Two.

Shania shares the same birthday as LeAnn Rimes (August 28th) and coincidentally both singers went up in my estimation when they broke from their country roots.

my mum had both Up and Come On Over...she played COO to death! I swear I probably know every song, though not by choice. She recently found the album..so no doubt that'll be on the jukebox soon.

I remember when she brought out Still the one she was hyped as the biggest selling female artist or fastest selling female whatever and it never really lasted.

Good luck to her though, she had some good songs I just always thought she was really old and dressing in ridiculous outfits lol.
