Dead Box Y/N
Hi
![]() I have had the box since December and up to now all OK Booted UP without problem Recorded and played back Ok Saturday night set a number of recordings for the following week Schedule showed 14 Played back 2 recordings from saturday afternoon sucessfully then switched off vi remote control. Went to switch it on Sunday morning vi remote now stuck with light on but NO BOOT. Tried mains power off and on NO JOY Anything thing else I can try before return to base Cynderyn |

Have you tried using the standby button on the box itself? Does the PVR button on the remote glow red when you use the remote?
This has been reported before with the problem being that the remote had accidentlly been put into one of the non-PVR modes. It's easy to do. |

You had it one I tried that and it booted back into life ![]() I had visions of having months to wait for a replacment or a repair because the boxes are as rare as seeing a red squirrel climbing a tree Cynderyn |
