I couldn't stand him on Brookside or X Factor. He always seemed to be the worst kind of stage-school brat - all jazz hands and fake smile.

But I spotted him on Dancing On Ice last week and, blimey, he has been doing some good things with his body, hasn't he?

All he needs to do now is have someone give his hair a decent makeover and he might become a real bit of top TV totty!!

Keep up the good work Raymondo!!

Excellent response minxymoo - and don't let any of the bitter DS posters tell you otherwise

Some scousers might, but unfortunately, Ray is not one of them!

And I'm not sure we're thinking about the same person if you're seeing someone 'fit'

I love the scouse accent but Rays will hold him back in his acting career as I cannot see him in any other accent like Jennifer Ellison did in the Phantom of the Opera.

His face doesn't match his body.

After reading the NOTW interview with Kirsty, not really sure what to believe.

oh, i've read and to me it sounds like quite alot of lies and like they broke up and its been wristed into something its not. Also its only one side of story, the truth is probably completely different. plus the news of world always tries to turn things into something there not.
In my opinion Ray broke up with her and now its getting turned into something its not.

My opinion of Ray has not changed, i still love him to bits.

I think the story says more about Kirsty, that she would go to the news of the world like that. It shows her more in a bad light

in your opinion...i think hes Hollywood gorgeous.
If you dont think hes good looking thats ok by me.
but its not for you to tell us hes not "fit"because many of us think he is...ok??

Obviously it's just my opinion... Who else's?

I'm glad you like him, it would be a boring place if we all liked the same person.

You think he's fit, I think he's not, but I wouldn't tell you that it's not your place to say so.

Remember - that is just your opinion too.

Yes i noticed him looking hotter. I dont remember him ever being this fit. He's definitely brightened up my sundays.

I love the scouse accent, suits his character perfectly.

Never believe the whinges of bitter exs who see an opportunity to make some money. I always feel sorry for the celeb in these causes. They love someone, share their life and secrets with them and then when things dont work out, all their secrets and plenty of lies are laid out in the tabloids for the world to see.

I think the betrayal of trust is a far worse thing. Selling her story is spiteful. And all so she can make a few pennies off his back and hard work.

Even if every word is true, it's no worse than most men on the planet behave when they're that age. She's lucky she had him for that long, and they actually had a house.

Also it's got absolutely nothing whatever to do with his skating.

Having said that, he courted fame, and this is part of the cost of it. When you break up with someone, and you're a famous person, it can end up being a lot more public than you intended. Maybe he should have thought of that.

Does anyone know whether Ray did an American accent while he was in Grease?

And I don't think he's fit (which would be wrong of me anyway as there's nearly a decade between us ), but he's certainly far less unattractive than I remember from the post X-Factor pics

All serious dancers are physically very fit - they have to be - and Ray was a very serious dancer. He was good too, shame he didn't stick with it, but better dancers - Mark Ballas, Derek & Julianne Hough (if anyone watches Dance with the Stars) all left competition to go into stage etc.

As for Ray's voice - he comes from Liverpool. He has a Liverpool accent. Nothing wrong with accents.

Absolutely nothing to do with doi - or Ray for that matter - but I've often wondered, where does the term Scouse come from?

Wikipedia says it is to do with a foodstuff called 'lobscouse' that was popular in the region at one time...
