Did she and Emma know each other then before they broke up?

That doesnt change the fact that he dumped her after 5 years for someone he only knew for a couple of months!!

Since we don't know truth about their relationship, only one side sold to a newspaper with major descrepancies in the 'story', then all of this is mere speculation.

I don't know why you seem so upset by this unless you know Kirsty personally but relationships do end, even after 5 years and more. Obviously Ray was only 15 when the relationship started, it is sad when one party moves an while another doesn't but it hardly new, surprising or newsworthy imo.

This does seem like a sad attempt at 'Ray bashing' to me, sorry

It is also mentioned that she changed the locks to their house, which suggests that there is more to the story than shes letting on. She shouldn't have changed the locks.

Its sad this has been posted, its a tabloid article and its from the news of the world which often wrist things. You only know one side of the story, how do we know its even true?
What Ray did is not bad, they are painting it in bad light but thats just in my opinion Kirsty wanting to get money, if anything i feel sorry for Ray, that someone hes know for most of his life goes to the papers.

People don't stay with same person for their entire life, hes only 20 hes bound to have not found the one yet. Hes still maturing and changing.

To me, it doesn't even seem like theres a story there, they just broke up

Paragraph one "This is the first picture of Dancing on Ice favourite Ray Quinn with the West End co-star he is believed to have left his live-in girlfriend of five years to be with"

Paragraph three: "The couple met while starring together in the musical Grease. Quinn, 20, split with his girlfriend Kirsty McInerney, 21, in August and started dating Emma, 23, eight weeks later. She moved into his south London home just weeks later."

So he didn't leave his live-in girlfriend to be with her then did he. I dunno. Journalists today!! No wonder nobody believes a sodding word they write any more. Well, apart from people on internet forums obviously.

And my mum.

Childhood sweethearts often break up, it's sad but they are so young I would almost expect it to happen.

Personally I don't think it puts Ray in a bad light and I can also understand the ex trying to hit wear it hurts.

Doesn't affect my perception of him in the competition in the slightest.

Firstly I wouldn't believe anything in the NOTW.

Secondly I wouldn't believe anything in the DM.

Thirdly I wouldn't believe anything in an interview given by someone who agrees to be photographed in her underwear.

What a load of absolute tosh.

I dont blame her for being bitter.
i thought Emma was his mother when i saw her in the audience...i cant believe shes 23.bloody hell.
Gives us older women hope too.
It wont affect my support of Ray though, his private life is his choice.

People move on. Especially childhood sweethearts.

I must say she looked heartbroken posing in next to nothing ........... not!

Who is this person, he sounds like a bit of a dodgy character.

Is this the twit that was waving behind Todd and his partner when they were having there interview on Sunday. That was very rude and unprofessional.

This is a bit low of her selling her story. People break up all the time. In fairness how many people can say that they are still with the person they were dating at 15. This doesnt change my opinion of him at all.

so she changed the locks on the house cos she lost her keys? yeah right

She still lives in a house that he pays the mortgage on?

She sells him out to a red top for a fast buck?

Doesn't sound like she works much does it?

I am guessing that given they have been together from being so young they have grown apart. He may not have handled in the best way possible - but hey isn't that how alot of relationships go?

Stuff and nonsense imho and he is better off without someone who chooses to sell her soul to the Sunday Rags.

How could he move his stuff out given she had changed the locks? That story actually makes little sense when read in full imho.

Maybe it had nothing to do with emma and more to do with the fact that he no longer wanted to be with Kirsty, in Liverpool, paying for her every whim and fancy by the sounds of it.

It seems very strange to me that according to the article they were still together at the time she changed the locks due to having lost her keys and yet she didn't have the courtesy to tell him that she'd changed the locks on the house that he's still paying for?

In this day and age there is no excuse for not letting him know unless she didn't want him to get back into the house without her 'allowing' him back in.

I suspect the reality is that they'd already broken up but it wouldn't have made such a dramatic story for the NOTW so they left that bit out

I don't get the fuss. People break up and start dating other people all the time...

I think this is a rather silly story. He was a child when they started dating, 15 is very young for a lad to start a serious relationship. I think this is just this lass trying to make a fast buck they way she sprawled herself over the papers. People grow up and change and I think he just grew out of his relationship with Kirsty. The same thing happens when people go off to uni and it is not splashed all over downmarket newspaers!

The papers claim Ray dumped the girl friend he had been living with for last five years; that he is still paying the mortgage of the house they shared....

OK - so Ray is now how old? How many 15 yr olds do you know who "live-in" with their girl friend, let alone get a mortgage? Maybe they are confusing how long he "danced" with Kirsty....

Very young man gets new girlfriend - so what? I think he'd be pretty unwise if he committed himself to the first girl he went out with, especially at that age.

How could she tell him she'd changed the locks when he'd changed his mobile number. as he didn't want to speak to her.
