Ive just found out how great Oasis are!
Ive listened to their albums and they are just amazing. Definitely Maybe is a brilliant album and it was probably topped by Whats the story morning glory?. They have so many good songs. Noel Gallagher is a genius.
Any other Oasis fans on here? |

Huge fan! One of my favourite songs of theirs has to be Cast No Shadow, but it was never released. But yes, love them much

What?
![]() Where have you been? Not listening to Scouting for Girls I hope ![]() ![]() There the best band in the UK, if you ask me. I saw them live in Glasgow in November and they were fantastic. You have hours of good listening ahead of you OP. My favorite song is either stand by me, or songbird. |

Oasis are brilliant. A few of us at work were discussing our Oasis top ten the other day, it's difficult!

Well it's never too late to get into them.
Don't know where you've been for the past 14 years, though... |

One of my favourite Oasis songs is the B-Side to Go Let It Out and it's called Let's All Make Believe. It is so good.
Oasis singles used to be essential buys because the B-sides were normally just as good as the A-side. |

Any other Oasis fans on here? Yes they are Great. ![]() they made the quickest 40 Million in pop but after that faded away a bit with too many internal arguments. |

More as a casual listener, (What's The Story?) Morning Glory is definitely their most definitive album and more appealing commercially but without departing too radically.

I liked the Definitely Maybe and Morning Glory era, but haven't paid much attention since. Their sound hasn't evolved at all.

Oasis singles used to be essential buys because the B-sides were normally just as good as the A-side. Can I recomend the OP buys The Masterplan- it maybe a collection of B-sides but it is one of the greatest albums I've ever heard- everything Oasis did in those days was gold. Also buy Don't Believe the Truth- one of the best albums in years. Actually buy them all because they are all great! Check out Rockin' Chair, Stay Young, Fade Away, Bag It Up, Turn Up the Sun, Eyeball Tickler, Guess God Think's I'm Abel, Fade In Out and Mucky Fingers for definate though! Maybe I got a bit carried away then! |
