Has it ever happened before in the previous series? Was just watching it back, and Fred said something along the lines of (if I remember correctly) "I havent skated against my wife in a very long time".

So, does this mean they've ended up in the skate-off before?

Cant imagine how hard it must have been for both of them, even though I was hoping that Fred wouldnt be the one who had to leave...

PS: Also, did anyone notice how Michael and Mel, Fred and Melinda were all wearing red/orange and ended up in the skate-off? (The same thing used to happen in Strictly as well)

Not sure if they've been in the skate off before, but when they first started skating they were with different partners and skated against eachother in competitions.

I think that would be about 15 years or so ago.

It was very emotional for them both.

However, I still agree with the Judges' decision.

And did anyone notice Michael feeling Melinda up good and proper while they were waiting for the result.
