iPod touch video converter
Hey
I had a iPod video 30gig for last 18months and sold it so i could get a iPod touch. My new 16gb arrived, whats the best converter to use for videos? the converters i used for the ipod video are ok but the quality looks poor on the touch. Any ideas paid or free would be nice

First off, to get rid of protection files, use DVD43
http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/DVD43/1118268636/1 Then, use Handbrake http://handbrake.fr/ and your fixed! |

I prefer slysoft's anydvd over dvd43, I found it can tackle anythin thrown at it, found a few RC1 problems with DVD43 which was sorted when I installed anydvd

For just converting files (e.g. divx avi files), by far the fastest program I've used is iPodMe
http://nodadev.wordpress.com/pc-projects/ipodme/ Free, and for me a 40 minute TV episode takes just 10 minutes. |

Cbn you actually convert on the touch or does it have to be done on a computer? Also, what files does the touch play? Can it play ripped dvds?

It will run the same files that your iPod video did, you convert files for an iPod Touch in the same way you would for your old one - albeit the iPod Touch can support different sizes if you want.

Thanks. What files does it play?
It tells you there, under technical specifications. |
