Humax HDR File Manager

I think I may be missing something very basic here, but can somebody explain the following for me:

In File Manager (video) There are two columns which, to me, seem the same. Why are there two columns and what is the purpose of the second one?

Thanks for your help

It's for if you want to move files (recorded programmes) about.... On the right hand pane open up the folder you want the file to go to and then on the left hand pane highlight the file you want to move and press the 'move' (green)button.

From what I can remember, one is source and one destination, you need to set them to where you want (such as a USB flash drive for the destination).

It's also useful for organinsing things on the internal HDD. For example, I've created a folder called "Films". If I see a film in the EPG that I might like, I record it and then move it into "Films" for possible viewing later. It saves cluttering up the top level of the directory hierarchy.

That's almost exactly what I have done. Only difference being I have called my folder 'MOVIES'
