IPod Nano 'lock' problem - any ideas please?
My son's IPod Nano 8gb (I think its 3rd gen) still works even though the 'lock' button is on.
Up until today if the lock button was on then if he touched the dial etc nothing happened. Is this a common problem? Itis under the Argos three year guarantee so should we take it back? thanks in advance for any help

The 'lock' button keeps the Nano in what ever mode it is in. So if it is playing music then it will continue to do so when locked. If the Nano is turned off then the lock will keep it off if it is then set.

Sorry - what I meant was that with the lock switch on and music playing, if he moves the dial then it changes the track etc - so the lock switch isn't actually working.

Yep - get it back to Argos. If you're lucky you'll get a 4th Gen.

ooh! Goody - I had heard that they had changed their replacement policy though. Fingers crossed anyway.
Thanks for your help. |
