I have had a cold for a few days and it has now worked its way to my throat which is sore, and my chest which is wheezy. Everytime I cough and bring up phlegm it is yellow and always has small specs of blood mixed in with it, it has been like this for 2 days. I wheeze a bit when I breathe, but that is due to the cold and mucas on my lungs, so I expect that. I am a non-smoker.

Should I be worried, or is this natural ?

It does happen sometimes after a cold, all the tubes get inflamed and sometimes bleed a little. If it persists for more than a couple of days, go straight to your GP though.

You shouldn't be worried but should keep an eye on it. If it gets worse, if you feel worse, then go along to your GP.

But no need to panic.
