Recording non freesat?

does the foxsat hdr allow you to record from non freesat channels? I realise you couldn't do it in the traditional way as there are no epg details, but can you set a timer manually or tell it to record a non freesat channel you are currently watching for the next two hours for example?

Sadly no timer facility at the present time. Having started a recording if you press record a second time you can set a duration. If you switch to non freesat mode and power off and on again you can record BBC HD in a non encrypted form

Shame no timer, but can you do the record/duration trick to record non freesat or is recording non freesat impossible? I'm thinking of worldmovies tv and stuff like that, since i can use my freeview pvr for pretty much everything else i would need on channels freesat and dtt have in common. But if i can't record any non freesat channels then i'm as well sticking with my current setup......boggo freesat box n freeview pvr.....and save a good old chunk of change

You can record any channel in non freesat mode by simply pressing the record button.
