Hi,

I would like to manually tune my Humax HDR box to non freesat mode but am unsure how to do it and secondly what it will mean to my channel list, EPG and timers?

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

it deletes your timers, just go into the menu where it says manual tune.

Dozens mostly rubbish, a few worthwhile ones and an extra HD channel (Luxe HD). You can delete the ones you dont want and sort the list though. Once you have done this you should be able to go in and out of freesat mode without losing your timer reservations. (Some have said they do but it's never happened to me)

If you go into non-freesat mode and then press menu and select 'Edit Channels' then 'Edit Channel List' you will have a list of channels that you can delete. Scrolling to the channel and then pressing red will delete individual channels. However if you scroll to your first 'target' and press the 'OK' button it will put a tick into the box adjacent to it repeat the scrolling to the next victim and again press the 'OK' button. Once you have identified all the ones you wish to delete then press the red botton.

Alternatively you can do a more leisurely way and that is to sit down one day and just view the channels and then decide weather or not it's for the chop. Just press the 'Opt+' button and the delete option appears.

Which ever way you delete non-freesat channels this will erase your schedules
