Hi - there is a firmware upgrade announced on Humax's website for my Foxsat HDR but when you follow the link to the download centre (http://www.humaxdigital.com/uk/suppo...ategory_seq=65) the page for the download does not have a download link.

How do you get the upgrade file "FOXSAT-HDR_upgrade.hdf"?

Cheers
Michael

PS: I cannot use OTA as I have only 1 LNB

thanks Flyer 10 - any idea when they'll fix it?

BTW, it is true that the OTA update does not work if you have only 1 mono LNB connected? I thought I had seen this somewhere, but I'm not so sure anymore. At least I cannot find anything about this restriction in the manual.

Cheers
Michael

Yes, it is true. It's not in the manual because it's a bug and not an intended feature.

I dont think they will have it for download again, the only way to update it would be to take it to a friends house who has a twin cable, of course that would only need doing once.

It will work with one cable if you go through the set-up and swap the cable from LNB1 input to LNB2 just before it does the scan. I haven't tried it myself, but a few people on here have said they've done it successfully.

Thanks - my current set-up is that is have 1 mono LNB connected to the LNB1 input and then looped through to the LBN2 input via an EchoStar sat receiver. So my LNB2 is connected. Is that enough or would I have to just connect the cable from my dish to LNB2 before doing a scan?

When I do a manual scan it just says there is no new software available, but I think it said that as well when there was only LNB1 connected.

Cheers
Michael
