ITunes Payment Info Needed
Hi,
So, I signed up to Itunes the other day and bought 3 songs. Now, I'm just wondering is how they take the money out of my account? Does it come out all in one lump sum everymonth (in this case £2.37. Or will they take 3 lots of 79p over the next day or so? |

If you bought three songs fairly close together it will come out in one sum. They usually take the money a day or so after purchase.

It costs them more to do multiple transactions and it would be annoying for each individual track to appear on a statement individually. They'll only split it into two transactions if: a) You exceed a certain amount b) You wait a long time |

I don't know if it helps but I use something called "Click & Buy" to pay for iTunes store purchases.
They send me an invoice by e-mail and then take their money by direct debit from my bank. Has worked really well so far over about 2 years. I also send e-mail gift certificates to myself and pay for them by direct debit. For instance, a £10 iTunes code to my e-mail, which I then enter into iTunes and the £10 is taken by direct debit within a couple of weeks. The £10 then shows up in my iTunes account like a voucher would. This enables me to keep better tabs on how much I'm spending. Hope this helps. Cheers, Steve. |
