I am not really a fan of Ozzys music, but I think this song is destined to be big and I must say it is worth listening to.

But for me it has to be The Darkness and Christmas Time for Xmas number one.

It maybe depressing, but thats the greatness of it, you can't always have cheery and upbeat in the charts.

Must admit we all listen to different music depending on our moods.

How else would you expect Kelly to make in the music industry?

She may aswell use Daddy's help. A lot of artists with older brothers/sisters and parents in the music industry have relied on them to get further in the the music industry or in any proffession really. You sure you would too, I know I would.

I love it, the video is brilliant, very emotional. Now Ozzy has had the bad accident, I think this song has no.1 written all over it. I would add that I was never a fan of Black Sabbath, and I don't watch the Osbournes either.

This is one awful record made on the back of their hit show. It doesn't matter what people who hate the song think anyway as it will be number 1 this weekend.

Who actually went out and bought this garbage.

I pretty much agree with TOML. Ozzy has done some great things in the past, both with Sabbath, and "solo" (Not really solo, he still had good bands, and great guitarists in particular). The Osbournes is funny (in small doses, not every other hour, in between Jackass and Dirty Sanchez repeats). And I can fully understand them using the Ozzy heritage to get Kelly noticed. But now she's been noticed, she doesn't have the goods to back up the attention. And it's only a matter of time that her music career disappears, and she probably ends up as a TV presenter (for example).

Ozzy is near the end of his career. Let's face it, he's a talented guy, funny, but he's pretty much shagged out now. He doesn't need the money, why not leave his fans respecting him, rather than milking the Ozzy brand dry?

Blame MTV for that, it sucks what with repeating programs 100 times over, I don't watch MTV because of this...at least Channel 4 just show their popular every-so-often.

Ozzy is only 55, look at Cliff Richard he must be at least 75 and going strong...so no its not the end of his career, he's still very much popular as he ever was and will carry on to be.

Besides many BIG artists are still releasing albums even after their death.

TOML summed it up very well.
Kelly is one of the most talentless artists of all time, and this duet is just awful, I'm embarrassed for Ozzy.

I wasn't thinking so much about his age, more his health really. He shakes a lot, and that's definitely something that has got worse with time. I know he's a lot healthier than he used to be (remember him in the late 80s?), but it's catching up with him. MInd you, if he enjoys it, fair play to him. I just wouldn't want to see Ozzy in an early grave (unless it was in a Sabbath video ).

Agreed, losing Ozzy now would be devastating to his family and his millions of fans. Luckily he'll be alright after his accident on Monday.
....Luckily also he has a good wife who looks after him well. I know he was heavily into booze and drugs in the 80s and the like...thnakgod he has almost overcome it now.

First time I saw the video on MTV I thought it was jaw-droppingly awful. Did maybe think it might get better with time but, no, its still dreadful.

I wasnt aware it was an old song btw as I dont know any of Ozzys old stuff (tbh I didnt know what bad he used to be in til I read it on here)

Looks like it will be no 1 on Sunday -do people think it would be even without Ozzy's horrific accident?

Yeah, they made it - think it may be too early though to remain on the top spot for the Christmas No. 1.

Black sabbath were the first proper 'heavy metal' group. They took the amplified blues riffs popularised by such artists as Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin, which in turn had their roots in the sixties 'british blues boom' and almost singlehandedly invented the genre we know today.

Harsh, but I still laughed....

Am I right in thinking that this will be Ozzy's first singles chart number one in any shape or form?

Yep. his first number one.
I prefered the original 'changes'.
But its nice to see the old guy getting a number one after 35 years in the business .
Well done Ozzy and hope you have a full recovery.
