advice to anybody .do not belive anything orange say.they claim if you top up 10 pound a month you get free accses to facebook.this is not true you need to make sure you have credit on your phone at all times.if you have no credit it wont let you on there.i have topped up 20 pound in under 2 weeks n cause i have no credit at minute it wont let me on facebook.when you contact orange.you get international call centre .which you cannot understand a word they say.i phoned them a week ago they said they would sort it out.im still waiting to hear from then

i am also on orange and i have to say i have never gone through to a foreign call centre.
had a problem with the sound on my phone and if truth be told i think it happened when it was accidently dropped.
anyway i phoned customer service who put me through to a department who tried to fix the fault needless to say they couldnt so they sent me a brand new phone the very next day before 10am.
absolutley brilkliant service and no charge whatsoever for new phone.
dont understand why people are going through to foreign call centres when i never have.

It sounds as though you're on a contract. The OP is on PAYG. If my experience of my pre-Orange days on O2 is still valid, some networks seem to have different (and worse) CS departments for PAYG.

On PAYG with orange you need a minimum of 30p credit on the phone to access the Internet -- even if it is a free site.

It just the way it works before you connect to the internet you need some credit on the account.

Not Orange's fault if you have no credit on your phone.
