In pre-dso the Mux C version of sky text has been erased.

It has been replaced with a Mheg caption that if you give it chance to load says:

Sky text on channel 108 has moved to a new frequency

For the latest news, sport, entreatment and holiday offers from sky text please rescan now

www.sky.com

So I wonder how long till they remove the caption, it is the old channel without LCN at the minute.

And the other question becomes have they ceased the mux c tv news yet?

Answer is no, just confirmed mux c version of tv news is still running.

One thing thats odd though is we all know tv news is a 30 mins show that circles rounds and repeats for the 2 hours but today the show started so far though after the off air graphic went off, it was actually quite near the end.

An error at the playout centre perhaps?

We missed a change, capital fms graphic has changed.

Its still an all blue background but its mostly the way the logo is set out thats altered.

Unfortunately I am not sure what day it happened as I only spotted it today but I suspect it happened when the other MUX A changes happened on the 11th jan.

It now reflects the FM frequency band Capital broadcasts on now that it's a UK rather than London station, like Heart. It wasn't like that when I last flicked past on Wednesday (19th), though.

It changed very recently. I also noticed it this week on Wednesday or Thursday. The new Capital service launched on 3/1/11.

On tv news at the beginning of the show there was a warning in small white text to retune your box to receive updated channels

With this in mind it can't possibly be much lounger till the mux c version of tv news is erased.

Sky3 and Sky3 +1 to be rebranded as Pick TV and Pick TV +1 on the 28th Feb.
Whether it will actually be renamed on the Freeview EPG is another matter, as it took ages to update name from Sky Travel to SKY THREE and has never been updated to Sky3.

Also, Challenge's EPG number will be 46 when it replaces Channel One on Feb 1.

Challenge placeholder is now on channel 46. This placeholder is on MUX A.

Mux c version of tv news has been removed. It was broadcasting without LCN.

Retune required.

I did notice my mistake but by then it was too late to edit the post.

I did intend to write a fresh one but it slipped my mind.

So anyway thanks for posting this.

Yes but clearly it won't come back on the air tomorrow as the channel will be shut down on all platforms by 6am. So therefore my post is 100% correct.

I included the Service PID, which for some people is useful information.

They were only mocking the caption.

Get over yourself.

Well said. You do good work documenting the platform so well, but you need to stop being so competitive.

ITV2+1 is now on air between 7pm-6am an extra 2 hours a day.

They have used the old ITV Preview 1 hours to extend this channel by 2 hours.
