I doubt the LCD screen on the 9200T will appreciate it... it's had problems in the past with the apostrophe (') (displaying it as an apostrophe with an underscore), and more so with the ampersand (&) (displaying it as a space).

How many people will think it's refering to a footnote.

Interesting developments regarding the forthcoming Fiver rebrand to 5*.

For the avoidance of duplicating comments about the rebrand, and to keep this particular thread just for recording / logging changes, the 5* discussion thread link is: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s....php?t=1432485

Thanks for following & contributing to the Freeview Changelog. Two years old next week...

Or Channel 5, for the times when case-sensitivity applies.

ITV1+1 has now become ITV1 +1

Notice the space added.

Bit pointless if you ask me.

It does make it slightly clearer (easier to view at a glance) in some fonts... but yes, a little pointless. There have been plenty of pointless changes like this, though, throughout Freeview's history

It is polite to credit your source when you are copying other members' posts. Otherwise members will think that you are not treating other users with respect, which I am sure you are not deliberately doing.

Actually my source was my set top box, I was logging in to post this but you managed to post 1 minute before me in another thread.

So yes I have to apologize to my set top box how rude of me not to credit my source.

I apologize to you Humax fox T2 set top box.

At 3.59 am Red Hot Tv channel 191 was showing a babe channel called cream, it went to a black screen.

Now we have a caption inviting us to subscribe to red hot TV.

So red hot TV the adult channel has replaced the channel cream on freeview 191

this could be a error as channel 93 had cream on it's EPG info on monday & aswell as the day time show. but this was fixed some time yesterday afternoon & now has all the pay output back on the EPG.
so it looks like someone pressed the wrong button.

All 3 Sky channels (Sky News, SKY THREE & Sky3+1) have reduced the bit rate of their main audio channel from 192kbps stereo to 128kbps joint stereo. There is no change to video bit rates and resolutions which are still 720x576. Dave and E4+1 are still on 192kbps stereo. Null packets are up to 1.6Mbps on Mux C in London which is not really enough for a new stream for CNN yet.

Direct observation whilst looking for a new Mheg PIN channel (which wasn't there).

However LCN191 looks as though it intends to become another PIN protected channel, along with Television X, judging by its Freeview EPG entry. Red Hot used to be a channel of this ilk on TUTV before 2006.

I already said that review my post.

I observed a pin entry screen last night on channel 191 that look very similar to the televison X one.
