Not a channel dedicated to the 80s Space-based Trading game then

Shame!

Create and craft Now fully active on MUX C and LCN 32 big deal is just on a black screen at the minute so the space used for create and craft has come from the big deal steam

LCN 32 Big deal now has its old off air graphic back saying big deal and tune in at 5am

SO the lost hours have displaced Most of JCM direct and all of gems tv and psychic tv by the look of things.

Mux D slot has now closed and been replaced with a caption letting people know create and craft has moved.

Mux D now has a 8am-1pm slot empty.

In case anyone missed it TView launched 12/4/11 on LCN32 Big Deal from 6pm-5am. It is a ppV film channel operated with a Mheg application. On payment by web site or SMS text message, a code is sent to your receiver enabling the relevent film. On the first night things were chaotic but it did work with strange unwanted captions etc. The Mheg is by the same people as Babestation Extreme. Films look quite recent and interesting. There are some reports that they cannot be recorded. Good luck to it as Freeview needs a film channel.

News on the MUX D slot of create and craft although the caption says they have moved it came on air at 8am as normal so create and craft is still broadcasting on MUX D without LCN.

If you have to pay for it then it is not Freeview.

Freeview have got a film channel it is called Film4, if it is any good or not is another thing, but it is free.

If you read back in this thread you will see it logs changes to the DTT platform in-despite of its name and rays post is in the correct place.

Also the channel is available on most freeview boxes so that also makes it in the right place no matter if its pay or not.

I never said anything about it being in the right place. But Ray said " Good luck to it as Freeview needs a film channel." .

If you have to pay it is not Freeview, so Freeview is not getting a new channel, it is the naff DTTV system we got that is getting a new channel, different thing.

I also think this TView will fail because no one knows about it apatrt from a few here., Most people who uses Freeview sticks to the 4 main channels and will flick to some others now and again. I doubt many people watch the Big Deal channel, I wonder how many people even know it is there?

Thee aulde Create & Craft stream on Mux D has been removed leaving just the retune caption.

Correction: the old stream is still there but if you retune you will only get the retune caption on the 800s as the video is being broadcast on its own without being in the NIT or SDT.

Further correction: the old stream is back in the NIT (but without LCN). I think someone in Arqiva or Siemens is laughing at me! What will they do next? Maybe they were testing for a change at midday?

There was some change to the MUX D create and craft yesterday.

It had its NIT and SDT entries removed yesterday however the channel continues to broadcast without the entries.

In English if you retune you will lose the old version of create and craft from your set top box.

Elite tv starts up tonight on channel 192.

There has been no changes to the name,MHEG or anything else on the channel 192. This is just a change in programming as television X shut there channels down they then went into partnership with elite tv to offer this as a replacement.

Elite tv has now started broadcasting on freeview using the old filth channel 192.

No change to EPG name or MHEG. EPG name still Adult Filth and MHEG is still the old filth one from when TV X broadcast Honey Nights on there.

So no retune needed for this change. Its still timesharing with 5USA and still broadcasts 1AM-5.30AM

TView has ceased broadcasting, but they haven't cleaned up yet (some of the EPG entries and their website seem to indicate they haven't stopped). They claimed over the phone that the 2 weeks was merely a trial run, which is why they have now closed. The Jewellery Channel has taken its place on LCN32 Big Deal, and are advertising on-air their hours as being 1800-0200 (both of their Freeview slots are listed on the screen - this and the 0600-1200 slot on LCN31 5 USA). One presenter said this arrangement is for a limited time only. It remains to be seen what will broadcast in the remaining 0200-0600 slot, or what will come after this time-limited arrangement.

And in a mildly surprising move, the 0200-0500 (or 0200-0600 - not yet confirmed) slot turns out to be JCM Direct.
