Wasn't expecting a 'red button' option to switch between single and double image.. Interesting . .
I don't need a 3D TV, Going 'boss eyed' and merging the images works quite well (got a headache after 30s). Just need aspect ratio adjustable eyes.. ![]()

2D viewers will see two side by side images. To watch it in 3D on Freeview requires a 3D TV set and a UK HD tuner (DVB-T2).

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what would you see on a 3D TV without wearing glasses?

Mux A is now running with 2.3Mbps of null packets; ready for its eleventh stream.
LCN308 TOPUP Anytime2 has been removed and its hidden stream the TUTV data channel has been transferred to LCN307 TOPUP Anytime1 The 25kbps RadioTimesExtra stream that was used for software downloads (ie not the EPG data) has been removed leaving just the 50kbps stream for data. This is still attached to LCN93 Television X. It changed a few days ago. All primary audios except Teletext Holidays are now 128kbps joint stereo; in some cases an actual improvement. Filth was running at 64kbps stereo but is not active at the moment. A number of PiDs have been changed to be more sensibly organised. So everything that was observed testing a month ago is now live and we are waiting for the new channel. Source: Direct Observation |

On Mux B in pre DSO areas, the caption advising a retune on the former 301 stream has been completely deleted (including from the NIT) and null packets are currently 3Mbps with only four streams on the Mux. Looks like the matched capacity on Mux B & Arq A will be appearing very soon.

LCN109 MOBILIZER is running a single page caption stating that it has closed. It never made it as far as Wales.

New Ofcon licences for Connect, Stream & Vision have appeared.
All are apparently data services. Category B means "not teleshopping" http://www.ofcom.org.uk/static/tvlicensing/dtt/main.htm |

LCN308 TOPUP Anytime2, which was earlier this morning just a placeholder with entries in the NIT and SDT only, has now been deleted.
Thanks to daniel 2015 for noticing this first. |

For that sort of change, merely deleting the empty placeholder will do.

24 hour ITV2+1
ITV2+1 has commenced 24 hour broadcasting on Freeview channel 27, as was suggested on the Freeview EPG but never confirmed in advance by ITV. An extra stream is active on Mux A/SDN.
