Wasn't expecting a 'red button' option to switch between single and double image.. Interesting . .

I don't need a 3D TV, Going 'boss eyed' and merging the images works quite well (got a headache after 30s). Just need aspect ratio adjustable eyes..

I did wonder if that would work.

To add to this there is also a MHEG service which allows watching in 2D, by stretching the left-hand image to full screen.

Thanks to Winston_1 for first posting this information.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what would you see on a 3D TV without wearing glasses?

A doubled image, almost like a ghost image...

Mux A is now running with 2.3Mbps of null packets; ready for its eleventh stream.

LCN308 TOPUP Anytime2 has been removed and its hidden stream the TUTV data channel has been transferred to LCN307 TOPUP Anytime1

The 25kbps RadioTimesExtra stream that was used for software downloads (ie not the EPG data) has been removed leaving just the 50kbps stream for data. This is still attached to LCN93 Television X. It changed a few days ago.

All primary audios except Teletext Holidays are now 128kbps joint stereo; in some cases an actual improvement. Filth was running at 64kbps stereo but is not active at the moment.

A number of PiDs have been changed to be more sensibly organised.

So everything that was observed testing a month ago is now live and we are waiting for the new channel.

eg instead of random PiDs on Challenge it is now

Video 0x1a81
Audio 0x1a82
AD 0x1a83
Subtitles 0x1a86

but also PMTs have changed PiDs like the mux has had an overhaul.

On Mux B in pre DSO areas, the caption advising a retune on the former 301 stream has been completely deleted (including from the NIT) and null packets are currently 3Mbps with only four streams on the Mux. Looks like the matched capacity on Mux B & Arq A will be appearing very soon.

For that sort of change, merely deleting the empty placeholder will do.

You can probably pick up another transmitter, as I believe there was a DSO somewhere in the Anglia region today. Channels from transmitters that are not the one that was found first are automatically put in the 800s by most boxes (though some make you choose between transmitters when the rescan is completed, or most confusingly, slip them in where there are gaps in the EPG). Some boxes go by the ones with the highest average strength or quality rather than the ones that are found first, which makes a lot more sense.
